¶ “Iran Says Projectile Hit Site Of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant” • A projectile has again struck the site of the Bushehr nuclear power plant, Iran reported on Tuesday. The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran stated via the state news agency IRNA that no one was injured. Reports also say there was no damage to the power plant’s facilities. [Yahoo]

Zoox announced its plans for service expansions across multiple markets, as well as introducing new product and service features. ¶ “Hawaii’s Latest LNG Plan Rests On Assumptions That Do Not Survive Scrutiny” • Hawaii’s debate over importing liquefied natural gas has turned on a state study that was supposed to show whether LNG could lower electricity costs on Oahu while serving as a bridge to a cleaner system later. ¶ “Waymo: 8% Of The Rate Of Serious Injury Or Fatality” • The biggest argument Waymo has for why it should exist and why it needs to grow is that it protects human life. ¶ “US Energy Storage Installations Hit 18.9-GW Record” • The US energy storage market installed more than 18 GW of battery systems in 2025, up 52% from 2024. Wood Mackenzie and the American Clean Power Association said installations hit 5.8 GW in Q4, the highest quarterly total on record. Much of the activity was in California and Texas. [reNews]

¶ “Zelestra Secures $600 Million Solar Financing” • Zelestra has secured a $600 million green financing credit facility with HSBC and Societe Generale for the Echols Grove (252-MW) and Cedar Range (187-MW) solar projects in Texas. The company said the projects are its largest to date in the US and are currently under construction. [reNews]

¶ “CVOW Delivers First Power” • Dominion Energy delivered first power at its 2,600-MW Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind array. Dominion CEO Robert Blue said in a LinkedIn post: “This achievement marks another important step forward, adding much‑needed electricity to help meet the fastest‑growing power demand in the country.” [reNews]

¶ “States Are Lifting Bans On Nuclear Power” • Five states have lifted moratoria on nuclear power since 2016. They are West Virginia, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Montana, and Illinois. Also, Connecticut is easing restrictions on small modular reactors and Rhode Island is allowing utilities to buy electricity from nuclear plants in neighboring states. [Canary Media]
