§ The most recent reported status of US nuclear power plants can be found at the US Nuclear Power Report, a distressingly dull account of NRC news, posted on non-holiday weekdays and Saturdays. As of March 5, out of 97 US-licensed power reactors (including Three Mile Island, Indian Point 2, and Duane Arnold, which have been closed down), 11 were at reduced output and 10 not operating.

§ Video: Energy Week # 407 – 2/25/2021: It has been chaos in Texas because of the cold snap, with a lot of blame going around. Natural gas prices in Texas were up 10,000%. It looks like sailing cruise ships are coming. Texas is set to add 35 GW of solar and wind capacity in the next three years. Flood risks are badly underestimated. And there is more.

    Are we not mistaken. It is my understanding that Kewaunee is now operating under decommissioning funds no longer from operating funds…
    Thus, albeit I may be mistaken, we have 102 Reactors and decreasing… as I write…
